    Questions about stock accounts

    Dear Traders!

You can ask all your questions regarding stock accounts on umstel trading platform in this thread.

Provider of this new technology is Umstel, a web-oriented trading platform from Hong Kong. For RoboForex Stocks clients, Umstel platform is absolutely free-of-charge. It provides opportunities for trading a great number of stocks and ETFs (more than 8,000). The key benefit is that orders are done based on the last done price, based on the price/time priority (not Bid/Ask prices), and that orders could be displayed on the chart. Real exchange quotes are delivered directly into the platform, without any additions to the spread, the level of which is from 1 cent. A trading instrument for clients is a CFD. The platform automatically supports all corporate events, including dividends, splits, and mergers.
RoboForex Stocks will be suitable for traders with deposits of any amount, who use both long-term and short-term strategies. The key factor for all platform users, which guarantees them stable conditions for trading stocks, is the transparency of the services provided by RoboForex and their competitive performance.

One of the project’s distinctive features is the service that provides trading ideas, which is available to any participant. The service is sure to be interesting for both beginner investor and experienced traders as it may help to find advice from professional market players and subscribe to them.

    Sincerely,
    RoboForex

    [lang=ar]Hello
First, thank you for this good initiative to respond to members' queries

In my country I have been trading on stocks for a considerable period of more than 10 years
I also trade currencies but I do not know the rules of trading on stocks and I think they need a lot of money
Is a variable variable for each share or fixed and how to know
I see that $ 100 is very little if there is a price share of $ 1[/lang]

    Hello!

The required margin for opening a position on R Trader account depends on the instrument you choose and the leverage.
Maximum leverage on Stocks is 1:20.

Stocks could have the following additional margin requirements according to the Equity level on the client’s trading account:
    Equity level – Available Leverage:
    up to 5,000 USD – up 1:20
    5,000 – 10,000 USD – up to 1:10
above 10,000 USD – individually, according to the client’s strategy.

For overnight margin requirements for stocks, check "Full list of trading instruments" file on this page https://stock.roboforex.com/offers/trading_conditions/. The additional margin requirements will be applied during the last hour of the open trading session (15:00 – 16:00 EST).

You can open a Demo R Trader account to see what margin would be on Stocks that you want to trade on.

We don't teach our clients how to trade and can't provide any recommendations on trading strategy.
If you are a beginner to forex trading, we can recommend you to look through a wide range of useful materials for beginnners http://www.roboforex.com/beginners/start/beginner/ You can also view our educational videos that will be fully available after registration http://www.roboforex.com/beginners/s...rex-education/
A huge amount of useful analytics is also at your disposal http://www.roboforex.com/beginners/a...orex-forecast/
Probably it will help you to learn more about the specifics of Forex trading and make the correct choice for yourself.
As for R-Trader platform please follow he link to see trading conditions for this account type https://stock.roboforex.com/offers/trading_conditions/ and educational materials on Stock trading https://stock.roboforex.com/resources/education/
Please note, for R-Trader account type there is a minimum obligatory deposit of 100 USD.
Minimum funds you need to have on your account for trading depends on Stocks you choose and order vollume as well.
For example, your total exposure is 50 stocks x 117.03 = 5,851.5 USD.
There is a commission: 0.02 USD per stock, minimum = 2 USD.
Therefore, the commission for opening a position = 2 USD.
The margin required on Facebook stocks is 5%, so to open this trade you would need to have 5,851.5 USD x 5% = 292.57 USD on your account (or the equivalent in other currency).
Should you have any questions, please, don't hesitate to address our live support (press messenger icon in the bottom right corner on our website or in your members area).

At the end of each trading day, your open trading positions may be subject to a charge called a Financing Fee. The Financing Fee is calculated based on the notional value. The Financing Fee value, on which interest is based, may change from time to time without a prior notification to clients.

    Financing fee = price х volume х Financing fee % /100/360

    For example: Twitter, 100 shares, buy, Financing fee = 25 х 100 х -7% /100 /360 = -$0.49

Please be advised that Triple Financing Fee is applied on Friday.

Please check FAQ section for more detailed information https://stock.roboforex.com/offers/trading_conditions/
